An urgent road closure has been put in place to allow Westmorland and Furness Highways Dept. to carry out urgent cattle grid repair works.

This notice will be in force for a period not exceeding 5 days from29th January 2024. It is expected that the Works will take5 days.

Location: C5007 Whinnery Ground, near Duddon Bridge, from a point approx 2.3km north of its junction with the A595, extending in a preominately northerly direction for a distance of approx. 140 metres.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of C5007, A595 and C4028 and a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
