A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow OPENREACH LIMITED to carry out utility works which are expected to commence 8th April 2026 and anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete.

Location:

(i) C5008, Dunnerdale, from its junction the with the C4028, extending in a north easterly direction to its junction with the U5032; and

(ii) U5032, Dunnerdale, from its junction with the C5008, extending in a northerly direction for a distance of approx. 4 km.

Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route will be signed and made available via the unrestricted section of the U5032, U4059, C4026, Bowerhouse Bank, C4025, A595, C5007 and the C4028. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

N.B Passage for Emergency Vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of this restriction.
