A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Network Rail to carry out inspection works on the Level Crossing which are expected to commence 9th November 2025 and anticipated to take 1night during the hours of 2010 and 0535 to complete.

Location: the U5085 Skelly Crag, from its junction with the A595, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 20metres.

Alternative Route: There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles. It has been identified that it will not be safe to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists throughout the restriction.

N.B Passage for Emergency Vehicles will not be maintained for the duration of this restriction.
