Emergency Speed Restriction

An emergency 30 mph speed restriction has been put in place due to the likelihood of danger to the public, as a result of the dangerous condition of the bridge.

This notice will be in force for a period of up to 21 days from 17th January 2024, as and when the relevant signs are displayed. It is anticipated that the restriction will be required for 1 day, between the hours of 11.00am and 11.30am.

Location: A595 Wreaks Causeway, Grizebeck, from its junction with the C5013, extending in a predominantly northerly direction for a distance of approx. 2 km.

No speed limit imposed by this Order will apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
