A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Electricity North West Ltd. to carry out utility works which are expected to commence 7th May 2024 and anticipated to take 1 week to complete.

Location: C5051, Church Street, Broughton-In-Furness, from its junction with Griffin Street, extending in a westerly direction for approx. 90 m.

Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available as follows;

East bound traffic: Via the unrestricted section of Church Street, A595, C5009, Kepplewray Hill, Market Street, Station Road, Prince’s Street and Griffin Street.

West bound traffic: Via Griffin Street, Market Street, Kepplewray Hill, C5009, A595 and the unrestricted section of Church Street.

Access for Emergency Vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of these works.
