Urgent Road Closure

An urgent road closure has been put in place to allow Cadent Gas to carry out urgent utility repair works.

This notice will be in force for a period not exceeding 5 days from 23rd October 2023. It is expected that the Works will take 5days

Location: Church Street, Broughton-In-Furness from its junction with Station Road extendign in a westerly direction for a distance of approx. 60 metres.

Alternative Route:

South west bound traffic: Via the unrestricted sections of Church Street, Griffin Street, Market Street, Foxfield Road and the A595.

East bound traffic: Via the unrestricted section of Church Street, A595, Foxfield Road, Market Street, Station Road, Prince's Street and Griffin Street.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
